I was so sad to learn of Roberta's passing. We were good friends while in Holmes Street School, Brownie Scouts, and high school. She called herself Bobbie in those days, and she named me Ginger. Those were definitely the good ole days. I saw her last at a recent high school reunion -- so glad I did. She looked good then, and it was fun catching up. My heart goes out to her family.

Fortunately I was able to talk to Bert a couple of months ago, but it was heartbreaking to learn of her failing health. She endured so much and was a stronger woman than I could ever hope to be. I'm just so glad she is no longer suffering. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Roberta and I graduated in 1961 from Lansing Eastern High School. She had so much spunk and energy. In the past few years, we re-established our friendship and had many dinners and visits. We planned to go to dinner as soon as this shelter-in-place was lifted. I will miss her calls and friendship. She was a lovely lady. My condolences to her children.

Bert, I was surprised to learn of your passing. You were the first person I met at Battalion. You have been in my heart ever since. We used to talk about Bert and Ernie, your cake making, among other things. We were always going to go to lunch or dinner and sadly that never happened. Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear the passing of Roberta. We lived in her parents apt in their house and would see Roberta in and out with her beautiful red hair. I would play card games with her and her friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with her lovely family.
