Catherine I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Alan will always have a special place in my heart since he was with Jim and David Heidorn the night I met Jim. I’m pretty sure it was Alan who kicked me under the table so that I would turn around and talk to the group. I’m forever grateful for that kick as I met Jim who became my husband and soulmate. Sadly I lost him last year. I know Jim and Alan are enjoying some intellectual and entertaining Discussions in heaven. Sending you love and hoping for peace as you heal.

Dear Klein family, My sincere condolences on the passing of Alan. Alan was my wonderful friend who I met in high school at Bloomfield Hills Andover. I have so many fine memories of our times together in and out of school and I will always miss him. I especially remember the times we played pool at his house and canoed on the lake. He was a warm, smart, caring, and fun loving friend. My deepest sympathies to Catherine and his girls. Peace always....

Catherine, Lydia, Samantha, Kelley and Marilyn We are so sorry that Alan has left us way too soon! He was an amazing person with a kind huge heart. We have so many wonderful memories spanning 20 plus years! They began on the path to Way Elementary. Family trips to Toronto, Disney World and Vail.
