Family doesn't always consist of blood. Aunt Margie was just as much of family as anyone in my blood line. I'll always hold her deep in my heart! All of the great snacks and treats that she made, all of the family functions that she would never miss, and all the attention she gave me (letting me dance, sing, and tell her stories) were an amazing part of me growing up. I will never forget these wonderful things that Aunt Margie did for me and my family, but most importantly I will never forget Aunt Margie!

There are many things I am thankful for in life and Aunt Margie is a part of many of those things. When my grandparents bought thier house, I'm thankful that Aunt Margie came with that purchace. She became part of our family and my Grandmas best friend. She had magic powers, turning our Halloween pumpkins into yummy pumpkin bread for us all! St. Paddy's day was our special holiday, because of her I was Irish that day and in return she became Mexican on Cinco de Mayo. You will always be missed

Aunt Margie is true family. She was always there when we needed her. She wasn`t blood but, she was always part of the family. Aunt Margie would send christmas cards to everybody and was at grandma Neil`s house on Christmas Eve to celebrate with the family. When someone was sick she would send a get well soon card to them and write a heartfelt note in side.I remember going with my wella to see Aunt Margie. I love to visit her. She was always friendly. Aunt Margie will always be loved and missed. Love Gabriella

God is good, he gives us many blessings in our lives, mine started with my precious mother Neil and 12 years later, he blessed me with Aunt Margie. The last 42 years she has been a wonderful part of my everyday life. She became my best friend, guiding me through my teen years and my adult years. Never judging me and always lending me her ear. We've been through good and bad times, happy and sad times, we even got our GED's together. She was my matron of honor. She was always there with a big hug and smile for me, my children, and my grandchildren. I miss our talks, still picking up the phone to call you and waiting for you to call me me Josefina. I thank you for asking me to be with you the day our Lord took you home. You'll always be in my heart. I Love You... mucho, mucho! Your Amiga, Josie

On October 8, 1966, we moved into the duplex on Porter Street that our parents just purchased with the MacInnis family living upstairs. That was the beginning of Aunt Margie becoming a part of our family. Years later, our story was that she came with the house! Ha-ha! Her home was open to all the neighborhood kids, greeting each one with her warm smile. Christmas came with tins of her homemade cookies that we all loved so much. She shared our joys and sorrows, being at our graduations, weddings, the birth of our children and grandchildren, and even the death of our parents. She is proof that family doesn't have to be blood related. We love her dearly and will miss her always. We hold a special place in our heart for her. The Villarreal Kids, Josie, Lucinda, and Junior

To Jill, Tammy, and Steve - You have my deepest sympathy. Know that you were loved as much as a mother could love her children and know she was proud of each of you. To Mary - know that she loved you as much as any sister could love her sister. To grandchildren, great and all - your grandma loved each and everyone of you and talked of you often. To Margaret - you will be missed by all.

Thank you all for your kind words. My Gramma was truly an amazing woman. Not a day will go by that she will not be in my thoughts and in my heart. She was the most loving person. She truly cherished our family and we cherish her. She is one of a kind and will be missed so very much. Although we are hurting so bad right now, I rejoice in knowing she is with Jesus and I will see her again one day. To my Dad, Aunt Tammy, Aunt Jill, and Aunt Mary- I love you all and although we all live far apart- I am sending you gigantic bear hugs and lots of kisses
