How will I live without you, Mom You’re my touchstone, the most important constant throughout my life. Now, my heart is breaking and you’re the one I want to talk to, To hear your words of wisdom, and be buoyed by your love and understanding. To everything, there is a season, And, intellectually, I understand That you have traveled on ahead. But a guiding light has gone out of my life, And I don’t know how to live without you… So, how will I live without you I will cry And I will breathe, And I will tell myself I will be okay. But I will live changed! I will never be the same. From this moment on, I will be learning new ways of living. But I will keep your light alive, Shining throughout my life entire. And I will be ever grateful To have shared this road of life with you. I’ll hold the happy memories of our time together, Our talks, our relationship, our love, So dear to my heart. Until we meet again, I will live the rest of my life With such deep gratitude for having had you, As my first home, my first love, My best friend, my Mom.
