Obituary of Margaret Jane Santavy

Margaret Jane Santavy (nee Cole) age 83 of Warren, MI, passed from this world and returned to the care of our Heavenly Father on August 9, 2020. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John. Known to everyone as Marge, she was a devout Catholic, who served her parish as a dedicated volunteer for many years. Her soul was filled with strength, patience, kindness and generosity; always willing to do for others. In work and life she upheld herself to the highest of standards. She enjoyed spending time with and doting on her family and friends. She lives on in our hearts and will be greatly missed. Marge was the cherished mother of Barbara (Robert) Haeussler, Sandy (Jim) Schorsch, Patrick Santavy, Karen (Scott) Oberg and Lynn (Chris) Rodgers. Loving grandmother of Andrea (Anthony) Lauderdale, Nathaniel and Matthew Haeussler, Sarah and Jeremy Schorsch, Christopher and Eric (Cheyanna) Iadipaolo, Sydney and Melody Rodgers and great grandchildren Trey, Theodore and Brooklyn. She is also survived by dear brothers Charles (MaryAnn) and Raymond (Marcia) Cole, sisters-in-law Marcia Cole, Geri Cole, Millie Miller and Helen Santavy Meacham as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Cremation is being arranged through Cremation Society of Michigan with interment to occur at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. A memorial celebration of Marges life will be held on a date yet to be determined. Memorial donations may be made in Marges name to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or Make-a-Wish Michigan.
