Obituary of Warren A. Smith
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Warren A. Smith. Surrounded by his family, Warren passed away on Sunday afternoon, August 16, 2020 in Clinton Township, MI at the age of 88.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Donna; their child: Adam (Vanessa); Warren's children Mark (Andrea) and Patricia; dogs: Bentley and Macallan; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Warren was born in the city of Detroit, MI. He attended Ferris State University where he studied printing, and later spent his entire career within the graphic arts industry. Warren also honorably served in the United States Air Force for 4 years where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. While being a devout husband, father, businessman, and outdoorsman, Warren never forgot where all of his blessings came from, and he was sure to share with whomever he encountered the beautiful love of the Lord. Through his giving spirit, he founded the local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, iCare of Michigan, which today still stands and serves 50 years later.
A Church Memorial Service will be held to celebrate the life of Warren A. Smith on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Covenant Christian Church, 900 W Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 with a luncheon to follow at Rivercrest Banquet Center, 900 W Avon Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
