Obituary of Dominador Arenas Reyes
Dominador "Dominick" Arenas Reyes
Dominador Arenas Reyes passed away peacefully to enter the gates of heaven on October 1, 2020 at the age of 77. He was born on October 4, 1942 to his late father Pedro Reyes and mother Antonina Arenas Reyes in Binmaley,Pangasinan in the Philippines. He resided in Westland, Mi. before he suffered a massive stroke in 2012 and survived many illnesses since then until the time of his death. He was a true fighter until the end.
He is survived by his former wife, Esther Reyes and his 4 children; Richard Reyes, William Reyes, Faith Kneeshaw and Grace Reyes as well as his beautiful grandchildren that he loved with his whole heart from oldest to youngest, Sean, Naomi, Skylar, Ricky, Leilani, Maya, Savannah, Milla, Leo, Logan and Blake. His surviving siblings Dominga Cisnero, Candida Flores, Rosita Bumatay and Mercedes Dadacay as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dominador was called "Dominick" by most of his friends. He loved serving God and became a reverend. He spent many years preaching in churches and bible studies about the word of God. He also worked as a CNC machinist for much of his adult years and eventually went back to college to continue his education. He was an avid reader and a lifelong learner. He collected books and newspapers and talked about one day having a place where he can offer his collected books for others to read. He always put others first before himself, working hard to provide for his family and even supporting many other family members whenever he could. More than anything in the world, he wished for his grandchildren to have a good life and to follow their dreams, to work hard and stay humble. His life and memories will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.
