I was shocked to hear of Dan's passing I golfed with Dan and enjoyed him very much. I knew he recently underwent heart surgery, but I had no idea his condition was so grave. I will miss him and his sense of humor. Rest in peace my friend. Joe Maciolek

Dan, you were one swell guy, along with sweet Chrissie and your lovely dog, Izzy. We enjoyed having you at our Huron Sands campfires. You were such a nice person. We loved going out to eat with you at Northwoods SteakHouse when you told the waiter this was the worst prime rib you ever had. Sorry about that. We sure hate to lose you, Dan. I know we will always miss you. Thanks for being our friend. Wish you did not have to leave us so soon. I will always think well of you. I know you are with the angels. I don't want to have to say good-bye. You will live on in our hearts. Good memories of you; that's what you left us with.

My sincere condolences on your loss. Dan took care of Brady and Chloe when I was out of town. My cats are my family and their care is my top priority. He didn't just make sure they were fed and the litter was changed, he gave them the love and petschin scratchesplay in my absence. I knew Dan through his notes he left every time he visited. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I looked forward to reading his notes to find out what had happened while I was gone. He is going to be greatly missed.

Oh Dan! I’ll miss you forever. So glad that we golfed together on what turned out to be your last round, and you parred the last hole! I always teased you about playing too slow but now, how I wish I could play many more rounds with you my friend. I’ve never met a nicer man. Rest in peace Dan.

SO sorry to lose a wonderful gentleman and friend like Dan. We loved when he and Christine would join us at Weber’s for dinner before a show at the Encore. I know John loved having him as a golf buddy. I remember having all the guys over one time for lunch after golf and Dan sent a beautiful handwritten thank you note! Our last dinner together at Bill and Kris’ was so enjoyable and a treasured memory. His big smile and warm heart will always be with us. Sending our heartfelt sympathy to Christine and his family. His passing leaves a huge hole, but I hope he’s resting easy now.
