Obituary of Robert Walter Denys

Age 66. Dear son of Carolyn Jean and the late Oswald. Brother of Jim (Mary) and Ken (Janice). Uncle of Rebecca Chapa, Eric and Chad Denys. Beloved nephew of Walter. Bob was a professional photographer and a skilled artist. He also loved Detroit; he was described as a caretaker and supporter of his community. He donated his time and limited finances to the elderly and the church. Bob was also a lover of animals. Bob graduated from Notre Dame High School in Harper Woods, and Wayne State University. He is survived by many dear friends including his lifelong friend Al Goetzinger with whom he cycled over 4000 miles across the country from Boston to California in the 70s. An interment and memorial service at Mt. Elliot Cemetery is pending for the late spring.
