Deep love and gratitude for my dad. He was a wonderful dad and I am happy to have had a great relationship with him. The pain of losing him is deep but softened by knowing he is no longer suffering. He has passed away but will always live in my heart. I love you dad.

My heart goes out to Jean, Jackie, Jeanette and my beautiful wife Jamie during this difficult time. Jim was a great Father In-Law and Friend from the very beginning when we met 34 years ago. We always had interesting things to talk about like sports, financial investments, latest technologies and much more. He was a caring person and a wonderful Grand-Father to our son Jonathan. He will be missed and is now looking down on us until we join him again someday. Love you Jim. Jacques Ledoux

It is with sad heart that I say goodbye to my big brother whom I always looked up to. He did his best to follow Jesus and that's all any of us can do. Heaven has piped you aboard. ANCHORS AWAY, Big Brother.

I’ve always looked up to my great uncle. I loved our ice cream trips we’d take while my mom was in band practice. Taking a hike at the nature center is one of my fondest memories of my uncle. He will be truly missed. I love you uncle Jimmy.

I have so many good memories of my Uncle Jimmy, our family baseball games at Clawson Park, family bike rides and an awesome trip to Bois Blanc Island. My favorite and best memories will always be the look on his face when the Spirit of the Lord touched him. My uncle was a tough guy but when he felt the Lord he couldn’t help but cry. He truly was a great example of faithfulness and will truly be missed.

Go rest high on that mountain, Jim your work on earth is done! You have fought the good fight! You have earned your rest! We will miss our big brother but we have comfort in knowing that he is at rest and has peace! We will meet you in the morning, just inside the eastern gate!

Beverly is the reason I first met you Jim , when you are added to a family , you get the whole family . The common denominator was Mom as I would grow to call her . SHE would tolerate many things but she always wanted to know what was going on . I heard you Jimmy tried her often . Jim became my Brother in law as well as my Brother Christ . I grew to know him and love him in a way more personal relationship through family trials , hurts , many Births , Joy , Laughter, and pain of loss . He was always there through all of it . He had little use for a hypocrite, be who you are , not what you say you are . Actions spoke much louder than words with him . I felt the same way , Beverly I always would say was Jimmy in a woman's body . Talk about its either black or white no room for grey , they would fight you tooth and nail over what ever the issue was . So Jim my Brother you did not die , I'm still married to you , only now your name is Beverly. You are and always will be with us in our hearts. Please put in a good word for us with the Lord we don't have it made yet like you do my Double Brother .

Brother Jimmy had a starring role in my life. As a pre-teen I wanted to be old enough to enter his Junior High Boys class, because of the time and personal interest he took in each of his boys. The love he extended to each of us didn't end when we entered high school, or in fact, ever. He moved from being my teacher to being my friend on whom I could always count for a genial grin or an encouraging word, or enthusiastically playing and with my youngest son before church service. In his later years, whenever I saw him, I made a point to give a warm bear-hug to the man who had given so much to me. He was a godly giant in my life, and he will always be missed, by me and many more.

My Father was a loving God fearing Man. I am his 2nd daughter Jeanntte and I had a special bond with him. I always tried to make him laugh. He always told me he loved me right before the punishment and then he would say this is going to hurt me more than you. Jim Crafton will always be in my heart and by my side and I will always be thinking of him everyday.

To my big brother; you will always be part of me. So many memories when we were growing up, from climbing trees, hauling water, running rabbit traps, me crying when you got a spanking in school because you got caught smoking and you were only 10, and you falling in the bull pasture. We were closer than anything. You have always been there for me. I love you so much. My heart is breaking. I will forever miss you. I know you are in a better place.
