And it is well that when those feet have pressed the outward path from earth, it will not seem sad to them that stay, but they who loved her will be most glad that such a long unquiet now has had, at last, a gift of perfect peace and quiet. Edward Sill Carol and I remember camping, movies, eating out, playing cards. Audrey always laughed at my silly jokes, and did not complain when Barney put carrots in his spaghetti sauce. We are saddened by Audrey's passing, but will rejoice in our happy memories of Audrey.

The news of Audrey's passing saddened my heart. I remember years ago, seeing Audrey and Barney at Christ the Redeemer Church, and realizing they were sitting with someone I'd known for years--Margaret. That's when I learned of the familial connection. This in turn led to connections with your entire family, at both CTR and University of Detroit Mercy. Your family has a way of lovingly drawing everyone in, and your tribute to your mom is a testimony of that love. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Please know you're in my heart.

Audrey, your mother was all the things you mentioned in the powerful obituary. I know how dearly she loved each of you and your spouses and your children. I think she must have been a fun grandmother. My memories of Audrey span 72 years. We became friends in 7th grade when I transferred into St, Luke School. We lived many miles from each other over the years since I lived in South Florida for 22 years and then in AZ for 33 years, but we always got together when I came to MI. We picked up conversation as if we just talked yesterday. She was an amazing, faithful friend and I will miss her very much.

We are so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. We knew her thru working with Barney at the IRS. He spoke of her often and told us of her adventures with the Girl Scouts. We also attended concerts with your family. We know that she shared (tolerated) Barney's love of big band jazz and swing. A great lady.

I am so grateful that I got to know both of your parents, meeting them when Mary and I were in Girl Scouts together. It was always a treat to get to join your family for birthday parties and various other gatherings. I always felt welcomed and saw the love that you all shared. You were blessed to have such a wonderful mother and to have so many happy memories. I am so sorry for your loss!

Audrey 's Family and Friends When the lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Hold on to all your memories and let them guide you during this time of great sadness. It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing that all of you were a very special part of her life.
