Obituary of Richard Joseph Moon
IN MEMEORY OF RICHARD J. MOON 1969 - 2020
Rick passed away at home surrounded by his family on December 22, 2020.
Rick was born in El Paso, Texas and moved here with with his parents when he was just a baby. He lived a wonderful life. A man who has made me feel safe and truly loved for 31 years. An amazing Father and Papa who was wrapped around his grand daughters' little fingers. A master of whatever he put his mind to. He spent as much time as he could in nature. Hunting, fishing, riding and just being outside. He also had a huge love for the old Mopars. One of the things that made him happy was to be in the garage making the old beautiful again. He was the kind of person who was there for anyone that needed him. He is a man who has made so many lasting friendships just by being who he was. He would talk to anyone who wanted to take that moment and shoot the shit.
He was preceeded in death by his father Gary Moon and survived by his wife Tammy, his daughter Brittany (Tyler) Carver, Richard (Kristina) Moon Jr. and two lovely granddaughters, Gemma and Hazel. His brothers Ryan (Mitzi) Moon & Tony (Lori) Wallman, his mother Nancy (August) Wallman. His nephews, Anthony (Kayla) Moon, Nicholas Salisbury (Jordan), Brett Wallman and his niece Tyler Moon. He loved his family and friends like no other. For him, there was no difference in blood or not. He was loved by many and will be missed by many.
