Obituary of Harry Ade Wheaton
Harry Ade Wheaton December 5,1932 - January 6,2021 It is with great sadness that the family of Harry Ade Wheaton, 88, announce his peaceful passing on January 6, 2021. Mr.Wheaton, recently of Brighton, Michigan was also a longtime resident of both Cheboygan and Milford, Michigan respectively. Harry was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and good friend to many during his lifetime. Born in Milford in 1932, he grew up and lived in the area for many years, graduating from Milford High School. In 1952, he joined the United States Marines Corps, served in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1955. He was a lifelong employee of Parks Installation Company of Milford, starting with the company at its inception. Harry was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret (Rice) Wheaton, his second wife, Beverly (Bagby)Wheaton, and his brother Robert Wheaton of Holly, Michigan. Mr. Wheaton is survived by three children--Carl Wheaton of White Lake, Michigan; Don Wheaton of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; and Paul Wheaton of Brighton, Michigan; plus two step children, Cynthia Smith of Perth, Western Australia and Timothy Smith of Marne, Michigan. Mr. Wheaton is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Camp of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Wheaton will be sorely missed by his many family members, friends and numerous acquaintances as we celebrate a life well-lived. A private memorial service will be hosted by the family at a later date.
