Greg was always there for me. Most recently, when I lost my job this past August. While going through treatment and god know what else (Jan probably knows) Greg was there for me on the same day I lost my job. Offering me some manual labor work for cash. I lost my job in the morning and by the afternoon Greg was putting cash in my hand. Over the next few weeks I put in some hours for Greg helping him finish out a job which lead to a referral and another job for me. This is how I fed my family that month, while looking for my next career move during a pandemic. In that time we had some great conversations about life. At the time I remember feeling lucky to have finally gotten beyond the surface with the cool older man in the neighborhood. He was the guy we all looked up to and leaned on for his perspective, he had every tool and he knew all the neighborhood stories from 15 years ago but what was the coolest was that he genuinely wanted to be apart of our neighborhood dads crew. What he didn't know is that he was the leader. RIP Greg. Thank you for being you. --- Pete Kelso
