Obituary of Carole A. Herman

Herman Carole (Northup) was a Christmas gift given to Richard and Marie Northup on 12/25/38. Carole has joined her oldest son John Jr. in the Lord's care. She is survived by her children whom adored her, Joseph Herman and his wife Pat, James Herman, Judith O'Connor and her husband Dan. Ten grandchildren who provided so many wonderful moments, Joseph Jr. (Brandi), James Jr., Shannon, Jonathon, Daniel, Christopher, Andrew, Steven, Jianna, Jarrett as well as two great grandsons, Noah & Jacob. She will be missed by her siblings, Pat Smith (Chuck), Priscilla (Ralph) Bauldry, Ray Northup (Sharon) and Peggy Northup. Carole cherished the friendships she had with her lifelong 'card club' buddies. Their friendships provided many laughs and lots of love. Carole loved unconditionally and was fiercely protective of those she loved. She modeled a simple truth, right is right and wrong is wrong. She was the epiphany of strength and an inspiration to many. God gently took her home on January 8, 2012. A service to honor Carole's life will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 11:30 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 22915 Great Mack, St. Clair Shores. Please sign Carole's online guestbook.
