Dear Mike, Kaye and Jason, So very sorry to see the passing of your mothergrandmother in today's Free Press. Eventhough it appears she lived a nice long life, it is always hard to lose someone close to you. I just recently lost my dad who was 88 (and also lived in Grosse Pointe) so I know how you feel. My sincere condolences to all of you. In case you don't remember me, I am the counselor from Pinckney, now retired!!!!

I am the daughter of Fred and Edythe Gerow. I remember your parents vividly and want to express my sorrow at your mother's passing. I last saw them at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at Bayview Yacht Club around 1992. While living at home, I recall your father bursting into our house calling Freddy, where is my friend! Loved them. Wonderful people they both were.
