Ellie was my piano teacher growing up and an inspiration in my becoming a musician. I hope to share her love for music with everyone I meet. I will think of her always when I play the piano. Thank you Ellie.
I've known Elie for 40 years. I met her when I joined Northminster Church in 1971. I enjoyed singing with her in the church choir for most of those years. She was such a sweet and gentle person, always ready to listen to others.
I remember so much about her and will miss her smiling face. We will be missing her most of sunday mornings when we usually could share in her love of music.
Through the Birmingham Musicale I have known Ellie for quite a long time as a very friendly member and a very fine accompanist. My sympathy to her friends and family.

Ellie has been a friend and fellow musician at Northminster Presbyterian Church since 1970. She taught piano to most of the children who grew up there and to some of those children's children. We all will miss her greatly.
