Obituary of Vivian Ann Mautte
Vivian A. Mautte, 87 years young, passed away March 22, 2011 after a courageous post-operative health battle. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Mautte; loving mother of Daniel (Krista) Mautte, Cathy (Greg) Gordon and Debra Colohan; loving grandmother of Andrew (Jennifer Larson) Gordon, Stephanie (Benjamin) Peterson and Heather Colohan. Loving caretaker of her best four-legged friend, Mandy Lou.
Vivian was born on October 6, 1923 in Kenosha Wisconsin. She left home to serve her country during World War II in Washington D.C. where she was proud to work at the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). She met her future husband in Washington and was married for 58 wonderful years to Frank who adored her. As a senior, Vivian volunteered for 18 years at Troy Beaumont Hospital. Vivian had a knack of making new friends, young and old, wherever she went. She will always be remembered as an amazing woman full of vitality for life and her love of people.
