I will miss Aunt Ruthie very much. She was a kind and loving person whose lively personality and truly wonderful laugh could light up a room. She was a writer who journaled daily for many years, and perhaps because of this, enjoyed an excellent memory her whole life. Ruth was remarkably adept at disguising her struggle with deafness, and could convince even those who knew better that she heard them just fine. Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother, with the wisdom to care no matter what the choices or circumstances of those she loved might be. I am deeply grateful to have had my life touched by hers, and will always long to hear her beautiful laugh once more.

Loved you as a neighbor and friend and will miss you Ruth. I have many fond memories of you and Glenn especially on Christmas mornings at our brunch. Even if you didn't believe I know that God will shed his mercy on you.

We will really miss Aunt Ruthie. She never forget a face, a name, or a birthday. She lit up whenever she saw a dog or a child. Her laughter was loud and infectious. I remember being a young child at Lakeside Mall and insisting that I could hear Aunt Ruthie, Sure enough, we met up with her a little bit later. I loved how Aunt Ruthie would call on the telephone to check up on things, even though she couldn't hear. This would often result in a humorous, one-sided conversation in which she would ask questions and answer them herself. We love you Aunt Ruthie and will miss you!

Aunt Ruth held a special place in my heart and in the hearts of my family members. We all loved her. After my parents died,I found comfort in the fact that she was still a connection to my past. She will be dearly missed. We had many good times with her and lots of laughs. Ruth, you will ever remain in our hearts.
