Uncle Jack is gone but not forgotten. Met Jack in 1960 at Skore Lanes. I was open bowling on one lane & Jack was on the other. Jack was a fine tromboneist & hired in at Skore Lnes with his own band. Jack loved pinball & headed straight for one in all the bowling alleys. I asked Jack if he played golf & he said yes but that he was terribale at it. Wrong! He could hit the little pill a mile. I will miss my long time Buddy! Keith Naramor

Uncle Jack was the King of Jackson Street, holding court on his front porch, friendly to all, regaling us with his tall tales (or his complaints about the Tigers). Life won't be the same without him, but my life certainly was better for having him in it. Rest in peace

He was a great guy. I'll miss his friendly wave when I drive up.

I will always remember Uncle Jack from my childhood. He was usually friendly (when we weren't being pests) and helped us out when we asked. His big cigars, bowling balls, and that old gray Buick will be part of my memories forever. It was great to have seen his friendly face in recent years at our Jackson Street reunions. Rest in peace, Jack.

It will definitely not be the same going down Jackson street and not seeing Uncle Jack. I always looked forward to hearing a few jokes and stories when I was over. I imagine him now sitting on a big porch in heaven able to watch over us all.

Uncle Jack, You've been through so much this year, but it's over now and you are no longer suffering or in anymore pain. I'm so sorry you had to go through what you did, but it's over now and you're in a much better place. I hope you remember to give my Mom and Nana that hug and kiss I told you to for me. I guess this means no more waiting on the porch and that you really did have a condition. You'll be in my heart always - love ya.
