James was named after his grandfather, who was born on Prince Edward Island, the last of nine children, we never got to know well our Uncle James, times were hard in those day, I met several times oue cousin JAMES when I went with my brothers Brendan and John to Michigan, they lived in HAMILTON Ontario where we met the family, his Mom and siblings, Margaret, Mary Jane, Eileen and Frances. I wish I could write more, due to a stroke several months ago, I find it hard to type....abraço from Brasil.. a first cousin of James

So many wonderful memories of Uncle Jim! Helping out at Gam Rad as kids on a Saturday, visiting him and Margaret in CA and taking the 'Vegas Bus' across the desert for the weekend. Trips to the desert, and tutorials on minerals and gems. You were a gem of a man, Uncle Jim, we'll miss you!

In April 1963 Jim and I took our much talked about trip to Fort Lauderdale Florida for spring break. We we're inspired by the movie Where The Boys Are playing at the time. Whenever Jim and I got together we still had a story to share from that trip . I have wonderful memories of my summertime vacations in Ypsilanti shared with all of my Shea cousins and my aunt Elise and Uncle Jim. I will miss you Jim Rocky

Dear Cousins, I am so sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. I have many happy memories of family get togethers at Aunt Elsie’s and occasional rides in Jim’s Corvette. All the Cobb cousins send our sympathy and love.
