Becky posted a condolence
Tuesday, December 14, 2010
I will miss you. I do not know what to say. You were my friend, my partner, and so much more. You were such a fine man. You were so tender, so caring, so loving, and giving. You gave me so much of your time, your love, you gave me so much of yourself. I will cherish my memories of you chasing my grand-babies around on the floor, or our walks in the woods, our day at the corn maze, dozens of trips up north. I know the friends that knew you through the years know what a truly good man you were, all of us that loved you did. You had such integrity and character. Your life here was too short, I miss you.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Lloyd's passing. We knew him through Becky and shared family holiday times together. What a gentle, caring person he was. His sweet smile was a joy to see when he interacted with Becky's and our granddaughters, Rachel and Addison. We will miss him. With our sympathy, Skip and Dee Elder

Lloyd took such an interest in our two kids and it was great to see our two year old have so much fun with him! He was always such a polite man and always listened so well to stories you would share with him. He was very kind and I know that he cared for Becky (my mother in law) so very much. He was a great friend to her and and I heard nothing but great things about him all the time. We met many times at Big Apple in Waterford for dinner or the old Ram's Horn (now Highland Grille) for food as well. He is missed and will continue to be missed by all of the NewtonChapman clan!

I wanted to share that Lloyd was always a very kind and considerate man any time that we got together with him. He enjoyed our children and they enjoyed him as well. He cared for my mom deeply and that was very obvious in his actions. He will be missed.

I remember growing up with Lloyd being very protective over his little brother, he always made sure that no-one ever tried to hurt me, I guess that was his job, being the big brother and all. Lloyd will be greatly missed. He has gone to his new home up in Heaven, with our parents and grandparents.

Lloyd- We didn't see much of each other but you touched me as a very sensitive, caring guy. I enjoyed our Christmas Eves together these last few years and you will be greatly missed this year. May you rest in peace.

I'm gonna miss you but you will never be forgotten. I've got enough memories to write a book about you. Don't worry I wont.
