Chuck, Chris, Matt & Leslie I'm so sorry to hear about your father's passing. Taking a page from things my mother used to say (which I find myself doing with greater frequency), I consider myself fortunate to have been exposed to your mom & dad the world was a been a better place with them, and having the Modracks for neighbors was one of the best things about life at Knob Hill.

Dear Family, My father, Don McConachie was a lifelong friend of your Dad. They attended high school and college together and remained friends even after my parents moved to the Pacific Northwest. Did you know they shared the same birthday, Jan.9th and now they share the same date of death, Nov. 14th. I hope they are sharing time together in heaven as they were two very special men. I lost my Dad to Parkinsons 3 years ago and know your Dad has been quite ill. He visited my Dad in my home when my parents came to visit and would always have a birthday lunch and drink together. I know he will be greatly missed as I am sure he was as beloved by you as my father was by all who knew him. Please accept my condolences. I will remember your Dad as a true gentleman and wonderful friend to mine.

So very sorry to hear of your father's passing. Chuck and I did business together when I did printing buying for General Motors in Detroit and he represented Perry Printing.Years later, we ran into each other in various area restaurants or at one of the many Henry Ford medical facilities in this area. I was always pleased to talk with such a nice,caring,and considerate human being. God Bless You In Your Loss
