I'm very sad to hear this news. Jean was my tax preparer for 20 years. Getting your taxes done isn't much fun but I always looked forward to seeing Jean every year! She was a sweetheart. I will miss her for sure. My condolences go out to her family and friends.

My AuntieMy Auntie was special,My Auntie was unique. My Auntie liked to wear Mickey Mouse socks upon her feet.My Auntie is someone who didn’t care what others thought. She lived her life the way she wanted to,And she loved her family a whole awful lot. Some will say my Auntie never had any children, but I disagree.See, my Auntie had twelve children; I’ll list them out andyou’ll see.Kimberly, Amy, Nicole, and Denny, Kassie, Matt, Mark, and Stacey, Derek, Kari, Molly and Stephanie. On all of our faces tears you will find. For we are the children she left behind. She was our Auntie- that much is true. But, more than that- she was at times a second mother to us too.She went to our recitals, concerts, to each sports game,to our graduations, our parties, and our little moments of fame. There she would be with a hug and a smile. She was more than an Aunt- for she went the extra mile.I will remember her laugh and the advice that she gave.I will remember when she was around my mom,the two of them could never behave.I will miss the talks my Auntie and I had. When remembering road trips we took together,I will forever be glad.Through the sadness I am thankful, even though right now I cry.Because I was given a gift, the gift to say,I love you Auntie, goodbye

Jean was my tax preparer. She was always so genuine and warm, even gave me her phone number last time as she was retiring. I had no idea she had cancer. Please accept my deepest sympathies, she was a lovely woman with a great smile, and always wore the neatest jewelry! Bonnie Conklin

Jeannie was my very favorite sister. Even if I had more then one she would still be my favorite. She taught me so many things. She taught me how to sew, knit and so many other crafts. We always went fabric shopping together. She was so good at picking out fabrics. We did everything together. She took me to so many places. Sewing classes, plays, dinners, fairs, shopping, you name we went together. The trip we took to Pennsylvania will always be a special memory. We played a state trivia game and she would just laugh when I asked her questions that there was not way she would know the answer to. When we would play games we would laugh until we cried. She helped me raise my 4 daughters. She was there for every birthday and helped me plan all those parties. Some of those parties I think we had more fun then the kids did. She was there for every activity my daughters had, in and out of school. Every band and choir concert. Every play the girls were in. She worked back stage with me and we ushered so many plays, to many to count. She was there helping, when the girls were in girl scouts. I will always love her and my life is forever changed, but richer because she was in it. I thank God for her and wonder why he took her to soon. But I know she is with Dennis and I know they having fun and are happy! Jeannie thank you for being the best sister I could have ever asked for!! I will always love you and miss you to much.

From all the members of Monarch of the Glen Lodge #262, thank you, Dear PGCD Jean. Thank you for your encouragement, your kindness and your support as we started our new lodge. You will be deeply missed by all those whose lives you touched. As the annual convention approaches, we know that you will be there with us in spirit but, oh, how we will miss your smiling face. May you rest in peace and may your family take solace in the knowledge that you touched so many hearts and lives.

I am truly sorry at the loss of Jeannie Brown. My heart and prayers go out to her family. She was one of my favorite PGCD's, the sweetest person and a beautiful lady inside and out. It was always a pleasure to see her at convention walking with her mother. Jean was always attentive and you could see the caring and love they had for each other. I also will miss her advise and patience she always seem to have, which were just a couple of her greatest gifts. I will miss her. God Bless.

They say you should live your life in such a way that when you are born everyone around you is smiling and you are crying...and when you die, everyone around you is crying and you are smiling. Jeannie was such a person. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
