The news of Pete’s passing absolutely devastated me. He was a great person, friend & teammate. I had the privilege to anchor the UD Jesuit HS defense with him in our junior & senior years. We went to Tiger & Red Wings games together & did a guys Up North weekend too. His sense of humor was priceless. I consider him a brother & though it had been a while since I saw him last I knew the next time I would see him we would pick up like no time had passed. I love you Pete & I have no doubt I’ll see you again someday.

Pete was one of the first guys I became friends with at U of D High School. We played soccer together and formed a solid group of friends who carried on long after even our college years. I'm going to miss the laughs, his laugh, and those times when I'd say something off base and he would give me that look and just shake his head and laugh. The city of Detroit and our circle of long lasting friends have a big empty hole going forward. Lot's of love and condolences to the Kuzniar family, a very special group to many.

Pete, I had the privilege of knowing you since grade school and we grew up in the same neighborhood. Anytime I think of you it is a pleasant thought. Come to think of it, I don’t know if I ever saw you upset You are and will always be a naturally cool guy! No fillers, no extras, just humility and a kind heart. Thanks for being my friend dating back to grade school. Thank you to the Kuzniar family for sharing Pete with the world and may God bless you all during your difficult time. So sorry to hear about this. Pete was such a great guy. I didn’t have a relationship with Pete but when I saw this it was hard to hear because Pete was always happy and positive. He never got rattled. Even if you didn’t know him you knew he was a good soul. My condolences to the Kuzniar family. Pete signed his light on the world and made it a better place while he was here.

Pete was one of my first friends at Gesu Elementary School, a friendship that continued throughout our time at University of Detroit Jesuit High School. A fun-loving guy with a warm spirit from a great family. My condolences, thoughts and prayers are with the Kuzniars.

Pete was a great friend and I I'm deeply saddened to see him go. Pete and I were lucky to stay somewhat connected after UD days too, so we could carry on in our shenanigans, good times and tough work. Recently, I had been working with Pete on his security details and occasional film transportation gigs. Pete was a good chief to work with and I'll miss his enthusiasm for music festivals. Pete would visit every now and again with Maynard to hang in the backyard for a drink and a laugh. We often rapped about our Cub brothers to stay in the know. Priceless conversations and memories. I always looked forward to our next hang out. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kuzniar family during this trying time. Pete, I'll see you at the Ackamore Side Creek in the Sky, my Brother! Rest In Peace.

My heart was so heavy to hear about Pete. He was such a jovial presence with a great laugh and a kind word when you needed it most. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to play soccer with him as a young man. See you at the far post someday, Pete.

I will treasure all of the Thanksgivings and Christmases our two families shared together growing up. Pete could not have been a sweeter human, he had a shy smile for everyone. My heart is breaking for all my Kuzniar cousins and all of the countless friends he had, and for his pup. God Bless you all. Megan
