Hank and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of Bob, looks like he has joined Aunt Helen, and my mother Mildred. Aunt Helen always looked forward to his visit while she was in nursing home, and she would always keep us updated on his health, she was so worried about him. We never did get to see him at nursing home, as he would be there in the morning and we would be there in afternoon. We plan on stopping at cemetery to say our good bye's to him, next time we visit, think Aunt Helen said he was going to be laid to rest next to his brother George. Love to all.

Hello. Not sure if this will get to u but I have been doing research on a gentleman named Lewis Jennice. He was a corpsman in the navy. Supposedly he was the one that saved your grandfather at iwo jima and was killed saving him. Was wanting to get info from u about your grandfather. Lowery@ohio.edu

As I think back, you were always there offering your help, opinion and unwaivering guidance as a father and uncle. I have so many pleasant memories. Going to the races, the big lake, the house on Remick which led me to excursions to Detroit. Also your car horn honking on the highway and waving to no one to get a laugh. Your rumbling loud voice is now silenced, but the most important legacy of you remains. Your love and strong stature of what a man is. The telling of like it is In the race of life, you've got the checkered Ramrod. You will be missed. Love ya- Mike
