Dear Bernie, My condolences to you, your girls and grandson. It has been quite a few years since we worked at FordSaline doing screenings. It was a memorable time. We now share another life(death) experiece. My husband John, died 4 years ago-he was the same age as Bill. His previously damaged heart finally stopped and he was still working at what he loved to do. You, however,have been doing a lot of care giving and the experience is a little different. Learning to live alone after 41 years is probably not so different for those of us who find our lives going down that path. I can confirm that it does get a little easier as time passes. I find that having grandchildren to enjoy is my way of coping and such a blessing. I know that you have a lot of friends in the area and being the strong person that you are, you will be okay. No one or nothing really makes it any better at this time. Karen
