Obituary of Lynda Gay Paja
On Thursday morning, June 11, 2020, Lynda G. Paja passed from this life and was welcomed into Gods loving arms. Lynda was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Frank M. Paja. Frank and Lynda met when Frank became Lyndas accordion teacher, and student and pupil married on November 30, 1973. Music joined them from the start and nurtured them as a shared part of their lives together - Frank as a piano teacher and the accordion player with the Misty Blues, and Lynda as a piano teacher. Lynda was born on May 6, 1954, the only child of John and Barbara Maguire. She grew up in Dearborn Heights, where first discovered her love for music, singing for the Crestwood High Choir and the "Up with People" ensemble. It was in Dearborn Heights, also, where in elementary school she met five girls who became her lifelong friends. They called her "Lyndie," and they were with her until the end. God bless her and give her peace, and may the heavens hear the harmony of Frank and Lynda now that they are together again.
Her service will be on Saturday June 27th at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Road, Canton, MI.
