I truly enjoyed getiing to know George over the twelve years I've been at Northwood. He was a loyal and true Woody and proud of it. He never hesitated to speak his mind when it came to making the University better and as a result made a big impact. I will miss his friendship and his counsel. My sincerest sympathies to all of George's family and friends.

Karen and boys, I worked with George at Barnes for several years in the late 70's. He was always a good friend, great mentor and so funny in his own dry sense. Karen, I will never forget dancing with him at my wedding- him stepping on the train of my gown with those long, lanky legs! All of our carpools to downtown were filled with much talk and laughter. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find a peace in your hearts that allows his love to surround you always.

Dear Karen and Family, You and George are in our prayers. We thank God for George's good humor, gracious affection, and kindly generosity; for sadness met without surrender, and weakness endured without defeat. We now commit him to the loving arms of God.

I will never forget the many Sunday dinners Brian and I spent with George. The pizza and movie nights were the best. He could always make us laugh and he had such a big heart. He would give me advice and treated me like part of the family. George was always willing to help anyone out and did so often. He was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was a Personal Banker at the Ten Mile Office of the Huntington Bank. George was the assigned mortgage loan officer. The entire staff is sorry to hear of his passing.Everyone enjoyed his weekly visits his sense of humor and professionalism. George was working with us for quite a while before we realized the fact we both lived on Chalmers in Detroit just a few doors from one another. It was wonderful to reminince about the old days in the neighborhood. I am deeply saddened by his passing and extend my personal condolences to his family.May you find strength and comfort in one another. God bless you all and may George rest in peace.

Dear Everham Family, It was my great honor and pleasure to have worked with George as the Natl. Alumni Dir. at NU. George was the steady ship who brought senior statesman's logic and common sense to the table during our alumni board meetings. I was very saddened to receive the call from Brian Parr inoforming me of George's passing. Please know that I will keep your family members in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I am certain that George is in a far better place, and even more cognizant than ever of those who love and admired him. Sincerely, Kevin J. Schultz

Eric and I were sorry to hear of George's passing and send our sincerest condolences to Karen and family. One of our fondest memories was the Puerto Rico trip. Who could forget the late dinner with the dropped spaghetti, the ride back to the hotel in the van, trying to cut up all those pineapples for our pina coladas, and best of all driving the crazy golf carts around. George was a very unique individual. He will be missed. Marcia Booth
