I was coming home from Chorus this evening. Instead of my usual drive home, my car turned itself to the right instead of left on Morningside down to Lochmoor Blvd. and soon I was stopped in front of the beautiful home you built for us. Now dark, I imagined the wonderful light extraveganza you insisted on every year. Our house was lit up like none other. Tears began to trickle down my cheeks as I remembered Christmases gone by. To me they were magical times filled with music, fun and feast. A housefull of guests with the Arthur Fiedler Sleigh Ride playing on the High Fi. I am missing you, Dad, especially now during the Holidays. This was our favorite time of year, you and I. We will be thinking of you as we carve the turkey this Thanksgiving and on Christmas.....I will be the one to insist on some obligatory Sing along with Mitchesque caroling while my family rolls their eyes... Only Then will we be able to play.... Find the Baby Jesus.

No farewells were spoken We did not say “goodbye,” You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why. You left us precious memories That made us laugh and cry, But the love you planted in our hearts No millionaire can buy. If tears could build a stairway And memories a lane, We would walk right up to Heaven Dad And bring you home again. We love you and miss you dearly. You were a wealth of knowledge and always willing to share it. RIP DAD!

Carol and Larry, We would like to express our sympathy again to you on the passing of your father. No matter what the age, the death of a parent brings a sorrow like no other. Someone whom you trusted all your life, who wanted only the best for you, and who nurtured you is now gone. Along with the tears, reflecting on the many memories of him helps to restore your heart once again. I can picture you smiling now just thinking about him. May God comfort you and your family in the days to come. And I have to say, what a great picture that is of him! Carol, I believe you have his eyes!

From Ted's Family Thank You to those of you who were able to join us in the celebration of Dad's life today. To see that his persona reached so many folks would have pleased him immensely. It was truly awe inspiring to hear the outpouring of memories you had of him and to share in the Mass with those of you who could come to pray and sing together. Dad would have loved the festive atmosphere and on behalf of Mom she wanted me to be sure to tell all of you that she appreciated the support from everyone. She said it was just wonderful to see relatives and folks, some of whom we have not seen for many years and may have driven or flown in from a long distance. It was evident today that my fathers integrity was beyond question, both inspiring and plentiful. It is such a testement to the love and fellowship he felt for so, so many people. He never excluded anyone. As Father Nick said A real Family man. Today was a fitting send off. He would have wanted it no other way I'm sure. Fondly Marsha and Family

To the Bogdanski Family, I want to express my sincere sympathy. I'm sure he appreciated how close all of you were and the care and love you gave him. My memories of your father are his sense of humor, him at the cottage you went to in Canada and all of us eating wonderful corn on the cob, his love of Cadillacs, and how proud he was of all of his children.
