I am looking for a new obgyn and I remembered I went to her a looooong time ago. When I searched her name this is what I found -( I am so sorry to hear she has passed away. She really was a great woman, which is why I thought to try and start going to her again. I always remembered her to be nice, understanding and compassionate. I see her passing happened many years ago but I will still pray for her family

I will always remember Pam as a caring, sensitive, sympathetic, and patient medical professional. When I had an appointment with Pam at Henry Ford-Fairlane, I was never nervous about my yearly exam because I would be talking with someone who I really felt comfortable with. Some days I was so depressed and crying, but Pam always had a way of making me feel better by the time I left. I know Pam probably had a slew of patients, but she always remembered me. The last appointment I had with her, Pam told me she was leaving to run a Curves in Redford because she truly believed in exercise healing the body and the mind. I wished her luck, gave her a hug and told her I would miss her. I never returned to that facility because Pam would not be there. Pam's family and friends have been truly fortunate to have her in their lives for 54 years, but this is of course not long enough to be with such a kind, beautiful person. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Pam was always the first one to give me a hug and a kiss whenever I seen her. And the first one to always give me a smack upside the head and a few expletives whenever she heard that I had been screwing up. But she always did it with love in her heart and a big I Love You. Pam, although I didn't get many chances to see you the past few years, I will miss you forever.

I inherited Pam through marriage, but I learned what a truly special person she was just about 8 years ago. She was my saving grace, and for that I will always be grateful and hold her close in my heart. She walked this path with a strength, bravery, grace & dignity that reflects the person that she was and the way she lived her life. Peaceful journey's, Pam....you are loved and you will be missed.

Dear John, Michelle, Ryan & Phil..... Pam will always be a part of your lives, and of the the lives of all the people she has touched, including me. When ever we would see each other, it felt like only yesterday and we feel into easy conversation, usually about our kids and grandkids. She has accomplished so much in her lifetime, loving, caring and giving to all around her. She was funny too! She had strong convictions, and did things her way. I always admired that. It has been a privledge to call her sister-in-law, even after all these years of being an outlaw . I shall always consider her part of my family, I will miss her, but I know she is in a better place without sickness or pain. Love to you all, you made her very proud, and happy, and that's all that matters, be there for each other, for she lives on in you. Love Marti

Michelle & Taucher family, My deepest sympathies to your family...recalling the fondest memories of Pam. -------- Now that she is gone, remember her with smiles and laughter. And if you need to cry, cry with your brother or sister who walks in grief beside you. And when you need her, put your arms around anyone and give to them what you need to give to her. Look for her in the people she’s known or helped in some special way. Let her live in your heart as well as in your mind. You can love her most by letting your love reach out to your loved ones, by embracing them and living in their love. Love does not die, people do. So, when all that's left of her is love, give her away as best you can. ~ Author unknown With love, Lisa & Scott

I am truly sorry for your loss. Although, I didn't get to know Pam very well, what I do know is that she is awesome, funny, kind and alot of fun. My favorite memory is at my wedding shower. We were all at my house and ended up in a huge discussion, which I'm told the Taucher's are well known for, about wedding rings. It was a crazy, hilarious and exhausting day. She offered me lots of good advise that day. She will be missed greatly.

Hi Michelle, honey. My step-dad told me about your mom today. I think the last time I saw you was at a Rockette event and you told me your mom had battled breast cancer and was in remission; I remember you saying it had changed your whole outlook on life. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I'm sure it has been a long, hard road for all of you. How wonderful that you blessed her with a grandchild; I'm sure she was the apple of her eye. I will pray for you and your family, and know that she'll still always be watching over you. I will be sending a donation to the breast cancer foundation in her name. My thoughts are with you.

John, Michelle, Ryan and Philip, I have many memories of Pam from working at Oakwood Hospital with her through the 1980s. I vividly remember her funny stories and gags (how we loved to laugh!) and how excited we all were about Philip's birth. When we began taking care of patients with high risk pregnancies, Pam was our official ICU nurse and I learned so much from her. I thank you for sharing your wife and mother during so many evening hours so that she could be mentor and friend to me and so many of our colleages over the years. Pam was beautiful, couragous and tough as nails - It was truly an honor to know her.

What a wonderful tribute to who your were as a friend, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and health care professional. It has been a joy to feel the love dear Pammy, while reading all these beautiful memories others have shared. Your struggle has been difficult yet you remained such a lady; your legacy will be a strong message for women's health. It was hard to give your care to others but Julie, your nurse manager from Arbor Hospice Northville, earned your respect and trust. You made yet another friend during this final journey. I am proud to be your sister and friend and sharing your story will take your message onward - your last request. Rest peacefully knowing those that love you will try to fill some of the void in your absence. I love you; you will remain always in my heart.

I’ll remember Pam forever as a strong and courageous lady who never stopped thinking of the needs of others. We shared deep feelings this past summer about her Mom and allowing hospice into her home and personal space. She pushed her way into my deepest feelings about losing both her and Peggy in the past year and what do guys do to move ahead. Just a short time ago she gave me a directive to always “be there in every way” for Pat and Pennie. In a final gesture, she truly made me feel welcome in her family by selecting one of my photos of her for the memorial. We’ll miss your loving soul and strong presence as we continue our journey and you embark on a new path of light and love.

God bless the Taucher Family. I knew Pam back when she was at HFHS and I used to be one of her pharmaceutical reps. She was very kind and I respected her a lot. I was glad she was able to fulfill her dream of opening the Curves, even though I would miss her at work. Although I am no longer in that industry, I spotted the obituary in the paper and was saddened to see her passing. I will be having my mammogram very shortly! To her entire family and friends, take care.
