My sympathies on the loss of your mother, partner and friend. I remember the many times of family gatherings and the joy and laughter that Aunt Mary brought to the occasions. I especially treasure Aunt Mary's and the two Rabbi's (John and Chris) time together! Peace to you. May you cherish the memories of your times together, as I do. Chris Pehoski and Mary Ann Mangen

My Aunt Mary will be remembered as a kind, cheerful woman with a smile for everyone and a great love of life. She was a kid magnet, clown and entertainer at family gatherings who will be missed by all who knew her. Please accept my sympathy for your loss. Charlie and Samantha

Aunt Mary's broad smile and ready laugh will be missed. Her warmth and ability to include all ages at Family gatherings made her a hub around the festivities. Michelle and I fondly remember a pizza (and red wine)shared at the Bandshell in Point along with Chris and John.

My most treasured memory of Aunt Mary was the beautiful dress she sent me for my First Holy Communion, some 52 years ago. She personified generosity, impeccable fashion, and a great sense of humor. My condolences on your loss.

My aunt from across the great water is now throwing parties in the great beyond. I never saw her that much, but there are so many wonderful memories--waiting at the Stevens Point airport for her plane to land, knowing the next week would be a whirlwind of fun with her and my cousins. She introduced me to martinis--ugh--and always had a compliment. As I grew older, we had a joke about the Badgers beating the MI teams in college football. After winning a game in which we were the underdogs, it turned rowdy and several students were injured. Aunt Mary called me to make sure I was okay. She started crying when I answered. She thought I was at the game and would be trampled. She was generous, spirited, and witty. They don't make them like her anymore. She will be missed.

We are saddened by the loss of an awesome woman, mother, grandmother, and to us a Great Aunt. I will always treasure the times I spent with her and all of our letters back and forth through out the years. She was truely an amazing person with an incredible spirit. I'm thankful she met my husband, but sad she didn't get to meet my son. She would have loved him. We will miss her.

No one could have asked for a better grandmother than my Gradma Braus. She was fun, humorous, and extremely loving. Grandma Braus was always very supportive, and loved to have me play violin or read to her. The holidays my family spends in Michigan can never be the same without her.
