Knowing Chris throughout grade school, high school, and living only two blocks away, meeting on the crosswalk, and having fun at the basketball games, I only wish, having read this wonderful tribute to him and his fb comments about his travels and Life... I would have known more of Chris. May you RIP big guy and may your loved ones find comfort in your memories.

I recently moved back to Garden City hoping to reconnect with friends I haven't seen since graduating... I now regret not moving back sooner. I can remember Chris in school where he was always surrounded by friends. That speaks to the type of person that he was. It's seems only natural at the end he will again be surrounded the people that cared about him. The best gift you can leave behind is the memory of a friend who lived well, laughed often and loved many... Thank you Chris

I have fond memories as a kid and young adult visiting uncle Chris at grandma and grandpa's. Over the last few years as life got busy, we didn't see each other, but I enjoyed seeing updates on Facebook of where you'd travelledhow you were doing (missing seeing your pics now as it seems your account was taken down -( ). My memories of uncle Chris are of such a strong man and it's hard to believe illness has taken him so young.
