I had Mr. Johnstone as a Space Exploration teacher at Richards jr. High School in the mid 80's. Some of the things he taught us was centrifugal force and the names of the constellations. I only knew him as a teacher but he seemed like a good guy.

My deepest sympathy to Kathleen, and Jim's family. I first met Jim at my first National Education Association convention - I really enjoyed knowing him personally and as a fellow educator committed to improving education nationally. A sweet, sweet guy!
