How very lucky we were moving from Utica to our house on Suzan Ct, to have been able to meet Mr. Rogers in the Neighborhood who lived on the street behind us and the wonderful magic tricks he would do for the kids. Dwight joined us and several other neighbors in forming a Tubby Tubers club and we all had shirts that matched with our tubing name printed on the back, I probably shouldn't print this but Dwights name was Water Warmer. I don't believe I have to say more than that. We had great baseball games and block parties, and taking 1st place in the road rally, and loved getting together with the neighbors on the decks and patios. The thing we remember the most is his love of family and his wonderful smile. We love you Dwight and thanks for the memories. Len and Betty Torsky Ron, Nicole and Jim Callahan and families

Dwight was a wonderful guy, always kept us laughing. We were back yard neighbors for 10 years, and we had lots of parties and get togethers with the Rogers. Our best memories are of the Tubby Tubers group.... we had so much fun on our outings.

Dwight & I started kindergarten together and we continued to get in trouble for talking too much. What a pair we were and made the teachers day. That was in first and second grade! Love Penny

We have delightful memories of good times with Dwight and the Rogers family. He loved spending time with his family, grandsons, and friends. He had a great sense of humor and creative imagination. We cherish the many years we were able to be a part of his life. Great memories include watching the Fourth Of July fireworks from Windsor, viewing his personal version Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, tubing down the Huron River, celebrating his birthday in surprising fashion at work, his amazing background music at a mystery dinner, watching Michigan and Ohio State football games, trips to Indian Lake near Kalamazoo, shared dinners, neighborhood parties, his amazing Halloween costumes, relaxing and dining in Florida, his wood-working skills, etc. He was a treasure! We will miss him.

Dwight and I were in kindergarten through high school together. In grade school we were in Miss Sedick's music program with Carol, Penny, Bruce, Jerry, Mike, Bryan, Don and many more. Dwight was a man of great humor, dedication, determination, musicality, and great devotion to family. He is greatly missed.
