I have so many good memories of Lois during the time we were neighbors in Madison Heights. The impromptu pool parties at the Godlewski's house and other gatherings we had with them and other close neighbors, the women's pinochle club which turned into a poker club, and our mutual love of Frank Sinatra. I'll never forget the time Lois and I went to Cobo Hall (1967) to see Sinatra in concert. She kept sneaking down to the stage to take pictures until the ushers would chase her away. I still have those photos. She was great with my kids and all of the kids in the neighborhood. They all loved Mrs. Lois. She was always there for me, to give advice or just to listen. I regret that we didn't stay in touch more often after my family moved away. She was a good friend and I am sad that she is now gone. Rest in peace, dear Lois.My sympathy, thoughts, and prayers are with her family, dear Ed, Pam, Ed Jr., Marcia, and Laurie.

I also have great memories of my early childhood years on Hales, which include our dear neighbor, Mrs. Lois! Mrs. Lois was one of those people who takes time for children. She was so very kind and caring. This photo of her shows the kindness in her face that I remember. I am very sorry, to the entire Godlewski Family, for their loss.

We were saddened to hear that Lois has passed. We have so many fond memories of her as our friend and neighbor for 30 years. The many gatherings we enjoyed over the years. She and Ed were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood. All the kids loved Mrs. LoisShe and Pam babysat when our last child was born. She was always there and ready to help. Rest in peace Dear Friend.
