To the family of Mrs. Mitchell, I have some of my fondest childhood memories of Mrs. Mitchell to remember her by. It was such a pleasure to see her again at Dan's wedding after not having seen her for all of my adult life. I and my family send you all our sincere condolences and to Connie, I am sorry that we were unable to get our friends reunion together before your mom passed. I wish the best for you all. Dearest Gayle, Connie, Ray, Leah, Jenna,& Gina, Many and grateful thanks for sending me this memorial of Arline. She was truly one of the sweetest Grandmas I've ever met and a perfect host to a dinner guest like me! She was a beautiful soul and filled this earth with her lively and loving spirit. I'm richer for having met her and I met her only once! My dearest ones, I hope so much that your sadness now will in time be transformed by the rich and fond memories of your lives together. I could not have asked for a better grandmother. Honey, I miss you terribly. I miss playing skipbo with you into the wee hours of the night. I miss your sharp wit and your candor and I miss your strength. I embrace all of the qualities that I have inherited from you, I am so proud to be your granddaughter. Thank you for giving so much to our family. I am glad that you are with Pa and Jamie now and no longer suffering. I love you dearly, Honey.
