My thoughts and prayers go out to the Michaud and Fisher families. Aunt Minnie was my mother's (Connie Hoffman Cuddy) cousin, but they were like sisters, and my brother and I respectfully called her Aunt. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of being with Aunt Minnie, Uncle Ed, Marilyn, Judy and the little dog. As my brother said above, ice cream and good times on the front porch of the beautiful brick house on Tilton Ave in Oneonta. The girls would take us to the park to feed the swans and we used to play on the third floor of the brick house. To this day I can still hear the laughter within those walls. I absolutely loved Aunt Minnie's sense of humor, the stories she told and just being with the family. She lived a good long life and inspired kindness, goodness and love along the way .She will always be in my heart and never forgotten.

So sorry to hear about Minnie's passing and I was also sorry to learn of Minnie's daughter, Marilyn's passing. My family was a neighbor of Minnie and Edward on Butler Street for several years. I always kept in touch with Minnie every year exchanging Christmas cards. Minnie extended herself to me after my Mom passed away in 1991 so besides being a wonderful friend and neighbor over the years Minnie's kindness and thoughtfulness helped me more than she knew when I really needed encouragement and support. My heartfelt condolences to the family. I know Minnie will be missed by all, myself included.Eileen Kennedy-Beaulieu

Aunt Minnie, you shall be missed. I fondly recall the days, as a young boy, in the late 50's and early 60's, visiting you and Uncle Ed, and my cousins Marilyn, and Judy. Marilyn, and Judy would take my sister Jody and I to the Polar Bear for ice cream and then we would have long visits on the front porch of your beautiful brick house on Tilton Ave. Now you are with your loving family in the place you spent your whole life preparing for. I am certain you now truly are resting in peace.

Dear Minnie, Grandma, Oma. You welcomed me into your family and heart when I entered this wonderful Michaud family so many years ago as Chris' girlfriend, then eventually his wife. I loved being with you. Visiting you in Oneonta, and here in West Bloomfield, and then at Lourdes. You always had a smile, a compliment, a gift, a piece of history, and a lesson in every single visit. I was truly Blessed to know you, love you, learn from you. Your jokes and sense of humor were subtle but so very awesome, your compliments for everyone were many. I was amazed and influenced by your love of family, history and your faith and your life. I think like your faith and love for the Lord, you gave much more than you received. Something we can all learn from. I thank God for your life. I will miss you and think of you so fondly with every cardinal I see. Rest in peace. Go with God and may perpetual light shine upon you. With so much love, Kelly Michaud; wife of Chris Michaud, your first Grandson, and Jack and Charlie Michaud, two of your many wonderful Grandchildren.
