Obituary of William Herbert Peabody

William H. Peabody, died Saturday, August 18th. He was 93 years old. He leaves Rosemary (nee Pfeifer), his adoring wife of 70 Years, and 5 loving sons: William Jr. (the late Kathleen), Michael (Jacqueline), Foster (Nancy), Gregory (Janet), and Edward (Patricia). William was a veteran of World War II, where he engaged in 5 major battles in the European Theater of Operations. Upon his return he lead a long, distinguished career with Cadillac Glass. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was also a special friend to JoAnne Peabody and the William R. Pace family. He is preceded in death by two sisters: Florence Bingham (Parley), and Marion Gould (Frank). He is survived by one brother George, and one brother-in-law, Philip A. Pfeifer (Claudette). Cremation has taken place and there will be a private burial at the family plot in Manchester, MI. He was loved and cherished by many.
