Sarah, Laura and Neil, I was recently informed of Jacquelyn's passing. My heart sank upon hearing this. Years have passed since I have seen any of you, and I have often wondered how you were doing and prayed that all good things in life found their way to you. Sarah and Laura, I remember what a strong soul your Mom had and even in the face of such an adversity she would always smile big. I will never forget her kind words and great advice. And I still remember her yelling at me and my brother when we were kids whenever we were hamming it up in our back yard...we were goofballs! ;-) I have so much more to say. I pray for you and trust God will always watch over you. Jacquelyn was always in great company with all of you. And she still is, just in a different place. Love always and God Bless you, Don

Dear Neil, I never met Jackie or ever saw the two of you together. But I could feel the love you both had any time Jackie's name was ever said by anyone. May you find peace, Neil. Love, Dianne

I will always treasure the times spent with my Aunt Jackie. I can't count how many people I told that she was the strongest person I had ever known. I still think she is. I remember the smell of her perfume - every card or gift she gave me smelled like it. I remember her smile and her laugh. Her hair and make-up were always perfect. She made blue jeans and a sweatshirt look dressy. She always had an air about her that screamed sophistication and class. I will always remember her as a graceful and beautiful person. My heart goes out to Laura, Sarah, and Neil. Peace be with you in know she is at peace. Love always, Derek & Amy Flemming

I hadn't seen my Aunt Jackie in such a long time, or my cousins Laura and Sarah. I miss you all. I will always remember how Aunt Jackie was the epitomy of grace. She never had a hair out of place and was filled with dignity. I will always admire her for that. She did not have a mean bone in her body, even after having to face such adversity. To my cousins Laura and Sarah, please know you are not alone, she will always be with you as will Uncle Frank. Love and prayers to you all....

A Dream is a wish your heart makes, When you're fast asleep. In dreams you will lose your heartaches Whatever you wish for, you keep. Have faith in your dreams and someday Your rainbow will come shining through. No matter how your heart is grieving, If you keep on believing, The dream that you wish will come true. I will miss you, my love, everyday. I will continue to love you, till the end of days.

Let us remember that when the mighty cyprus tree loses a branch, the tree is sad but it does not die;rather, it pours all its love and energy into those other branches so that they may grow big and strong and fill the empty space with their beauty and strength.

Sarah & family - I will always remember what a strong women your mother was. In middle school, I think it was 6th or 7th grade, when she came to science class to speak about her MS. I had been to your house many times and never knew how much she struggled even then. May you always treasure the wonderful memories and good times you had with her and remember her strength. Danielle

My sister....always so beautiful and always so strong. Even in her illness, she would often find something to laugh about. At her memorial service the priest talked to us about how strength often makes it's way to us in weakness. How true. There was the presence of angels there that day, and today my sister has her wings. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Neil, whose love for her is immeasurable. And to her two daughters. Please say a prayer today for all those who suffer. And as my sister always signed her cards, I wish for you always, good health.

I’ll not forget… Neil remained steadfast by Jacquelyn’s side -- nursing her every need -- every hour, every day, year after painful year. His actions speak volumes of who Jacquelyn Schaaf really was. To be honest, had I not witnessed that, I knew that Jackie had to be someone very special. I married her sister, have always thought of myself as an extremely lucky husband, and thank James and Elsie for having raised her they way they did. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all who knew and loved Jacquelyn. God rest her soul 'til you all shall meet again.

Dear Laura and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss, and yet, your mom no longer has to suffer. I know you both wanted the suffering to go away, leaving your mom alive and well again. That is why I am so sorry for your loss, especially during this time of the year. Word traveled from Laura's circles on the Internet and I just found out today. I miss you very much, Laura. Laura gave this to me when I was devastated by the loss of my grandma in 1985, and I will post it here now Do not stand by my grave and weep, I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am a diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand by my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. -unknown Your mother will always be with you in your heart and mind.
