Dear Laura and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss, and yet, your mom no longer has to suffer. I know you both wanted the suffering to go away, leaving your mom alive and well again. That is why I am so sorry for your loss, especially during this time of the year. Word traveled from Laura's circles on the Internet and I just found out today. I miss you very much, Laura. Laura gave this to me when I was devastated by the loss of my grandma in 1985, and I will post it here now Do not stand by my grave and weep, I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am a diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand by my grave and cry. I am not there.
