Julie and Lisa - I was so sorry to hear about Roger. I truly feel very sorry for your loss. Roger was a very commpassionate man with a great sense of hummor. He always made me feel at ease at family gatherings. My memories of Roger go back to when I was just a young boy. Roger was my half-brother and even though I didn't have a lot of opportunities to see him, I was happy to know he was my brother. When we did get together, he was great to be around and I felt truly blessed to know him. I shall miss him. Love, Linda

To Julie, Lisa and Jan-- We will always remember the laughter from the few but significant family get togethers. Grandma and Grandpa's big house in Leona KS where we got to enjoy Rogers stories will be the moments we remember most. Lisa we still remember most of those cheers you taught us the night the big storm came up and the electricity went out. We know our own pieces of the family are far apart, but we are all still a piece of the same family and that is the best memory. You are all in our prayers.

Although I did not have an opportunity to meet Roger and his family personally, my heartfelt sympathies are offered to his family. Roger's mother and I were first cousins. I had several lengthy conversations with Roger by telephone during my quest for information while researching the Nordstrom family, and I had hoped that someday we could meet in person, but that was not to be. To Julie, Lisa and her family, I offer my most sincere condolences.

Uncle Roger was always a truthful and great man to be around. Although he is technically my great uncle that is not what we referred to him as, he was a closer part of the family than that. My prayers are sent to my loving grandparents Janet and Joe, aunt Julie, Lisa,John, Anna, and Linsey.
