Just wanted to share this poem with Angela's family...from all I've heard of her from Barb I thought this seemed an appropriate message of how she might feel... Afterglow I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways. Of happy times & laughing times & bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done. Unknown

Dear Aunt Angela, We are still in shock on how quickly you left us. You were a wonderful, wonderful Aunt (Great Aunt) to us all. We will always remember your kindness, and caring for all of those around you. We will miss you terribly during the holidays along with your wonderful cookies, bread, etc. You will also be missed on upcoming Mother's Days. Although, you and mom insisted that we not take you out or spend any money on you for that special day I am glad that we had the opportunity to do that on many occasions! You have raised wonderful children and they will carry on with the qualities you instilled. May God bless you always, until we see each other again. Forever in our hearts.....Love Tim, Liz and Lindsey Meyer

Barb, I am very sorry for your loss. Your mom will be looking out for you for the rest of your life. You will see her face in the clouds. She will send you a message now and then to help guide you. Remember all that your mom taught you and what she stood for because that is what makes us a better person. I'm sure she is in a better place.

To my dear Aunt Angela, You are, and will always be, dearly missed, but I'm happy for you being in a much better place. I know you are looking after us all, as you always did here with us. I will do my best to bake your wonderful cookies at the holidays, but I'm sure they won't be the same. Thank you for all your love over the years from when we were all little trouble makers until your leaving us to be with God. I am so happy we could be together one more time over labor day at my house, and I will cherish that time and my last hug and kiss from you. I'll see you again one day.. WIth love, Susie

Barb, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. You always told such wonderful and funny stories about your mom and I was so pleased to finally meet her at your wedding. She raised a wonderful daughter and I am certain that made her very proud!

Hi Mom, I have so many good and comforting memories of you that it is hard to capture them all here. You were so good and kind and loving and I will carry you with me every day. You showed us such an example of how to live. I will miss my daily calls to you and you (with Dad piping in the background) telling me not to talk on the cell phone while I'm driving, our trips to Costco where you could spend an hour at the cheese section, the knitting lessons that I should have started much earlier with you to learn your unbelievable talent, your constant offering of food and drink, your offers for a cup of tea, your unbelievable garden and plants and most of all just the comfort that you would give on a bad day. Just hearing you answer the phone made everything OK, even when you were not feeling so well this past year. I know that you are in the highest place in heaven and we are all so lucky to have you as an angel watching over us. It gives me peace to know that you did not have to suffer long and we need to remain strong for you because that is what you would have wanted. Bye for now Mom. I love you. P.S. Dad misses you terribly, also, and we are so happy to still have him because he is your other half. We will do our best to help care for him like he deserves and like you so lovingly did all of these years. You left big shoes to fill.

Mom, we are still shocked that you left us so suddenly, but your everlasting love for your whole family is flowing through all of us, and we will love and remember you as long as we live. You were the best mother, wife, sister and grandmother that any of us could have hoped for. Rest in Peace, Mom!
