Helmut and I spent many happy hours golfing at BTG&CC. He was a fine competitor and enthusiastic golfer. Regardless of the score or a bad shot, he laughed and enjoyed the game. For him, it was always fun, and he made the game fun for anyone who played with him. He will be missed by everyone at Burning Tree and beyond.

Please accept my most heartfelt sorrow for your loss. Here's a man whose way of life, work ethic, zest for life, should be the standard by which we all are judged. His demand for perfection from his employees resulted in numerous successful projects at Ford. His dedication to the welding industry and his products go on as living proof in the machinery that still operates at the Sterling Plant. Then there was golf, on occasion an afternoon was spent trying in vain to shoot a small white ball into a hole 375 yards away at a little pasture called Burning Tree CC. what a wonderful competitor and it wasn't the score that counted it was whether you had a good time. And believe me if you were with Helmut you had a good time. How fitting that you pass on the week of the 2012 U.S. Open. I will always remember his hearty laughter and beaming smile, a trademark of a man who loved life. Helmut you will be missed by many. Rest In Peace. Amen Dan Jendza Ford Engineer
