Obituary of Roberta M. Moy
Roberta Moy passed away on the morning of Wednesday January 15th 2020, surrounded by family and loved ones. She went by many names: Mom, Popo, Auntie Butta, Mommy; regardless of the name, all who knew her loved her, as much as she loved them. Roberta was very active in her community and volunteered in multiple organizations, the most prevalent being her church. Spending time with her always guaranteed getting one of many stories she shared, as well as a full stomach and a feeling of being cared for. Full of life and energy, she was always helping everyone around her. Family and friends would often try to get her to slow down; only to, instead, be pulled into whatever she was doing.
Roberta was the rarest of souls and embodied the best traits of humanity. To say that she was simply kind or generous and compassionate would be an understatement. She would give to any in need, without any expectations of return. Roberta also had the rare ability to befriend anyone from any background and any age. Those who knew her were better because of it, and those who knew those who knew her were also improved. She did not allow for bullying, and many would say that she was the only one who stood up for them, when others did not. Roberta brightened any room and any event that she was a part of, the world will never again see one of her like.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus the services has been postponed until further notice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to:

She joins in death her husband, Henry, sister, Mimi, and parents, David and Leah. Roberta Moy was 85 years old.
