I had the honor of caring for Denise in the early years of her journey with cancer. I am saddened that she lost her battle and can't see her daughter blossom into a young woman.

I only met Denise once or twice thru her sister Christel, but even with those brief hellos I got a sense of what a nice person Denise was. I saw first hand how close she and Christel were, they would talk every day on the phone when Christel and I were upnorth, away for the week. I know she will be greatly missed!
I'm truly saddened by the passing of Denise Sunday. She was a good friend and shopping partner. I will always remember the times I spend with her and her daughter, Olivia.
Olivia, Chris and Marie, Praying God's comfort for you all at this time. Denise was a beautiful, joyful woman who's time was much too short. Denise and I ventured out into the world as room mates so long ago. I remember our epic backgammon battle for the biggest bedroom. Best 3 out of 5 games. She won. Of course. I've known Denise since we were 16 years old and in Beauty School! I always remember going out with her and having to wait for her to curl her hair perfectly! She was always so much fun to be with. What a great loss. Olivia was her greatest joy. Make her proud!
I will always remember Denise's beautiful smile. My wish is that her family and friends will find comfort in the days and years ahead, and cherish the good memories.
Denise I thought of you as my second daughter. You met so much to me with your smile and gentle nature. For all the years that you & Misty were friends you were allways a great part of our lives. You are no longer in pain now you can rest. I love you. All my love to you and your family.

Denise, Through Olivia's words it shows how deep a mother and daughters love goes. You were a wonderful mother and teacher for Olivia. You did an outstanding job raising a young girl into who she is today! Your pain and fight is now over. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. God promised us a soft landing and you are now in the arms of the LORD. Olivia im so sorry I will miss your mom for she is truly a great friend & she was like a sister to me. we had some great times on our little vacations. you will always be in our thoughts & prayers.

Mom, this was and always will be the hardest day of my entire life. You were my comfort, my strength, and the most important person in my life. You were the best mom in the world and truly will be missed. You were the strongest person I knew. You fought so so so hard, all for me. I can't express how much I appreciate you and love you. Your pain is all gone now and you can watch down on me and be my guardian angel. I love you so much 3 rest in paradise!!
Denise, there is now an empty place in my heart, but I will forever love and miss you. You are now at peace with our Lord, with your pain and suffering a thing of the past.
