Aunt Cindy, Tom, Mike,Tim, Colleen & Family I want to tell you all how sorry I am that you lost such an important loving man in your lives. Uncle Tom fought such a long hard battle for the past years with all of you by his side. It still is never easy when the time comes and they leave us. I found this prayer that sometimes helps me when I think of people in my life that I have lost, I hope you find it comforting. Hopi Prayer -author unknown Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint in the snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened grain. I am the autumn's gentle rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die. I love all of you and send you Tons of Hugs!!!!!

The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains..... For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. Our thoughts, prayers, love & hugs are with all of you. We hope your hearts stop hurting very soon & in it's place will be all the happy, loving memories Uncle Tom brought to our world. Love all of you. Very much.

To Aunt Cindy, Tom Jr, Mike, Tim and Colleen and Family- Please know how saddened we are at the death of your husband and father; he struggled in the last years and now knows perfect wholeness and peace with our heavenly Father, who knows us before we are in our mother's womb and loves us in spite of our humanity. My dad will miss his little bro and favorite sailing buddy - my husband shares his name and his passion for sailing; just wish the weather had been better the last time we were able to have him on the boat!! May you rest in peace Uncle Tom. God Bless your Family in this difficult time and may you look to each other for strength in unity. All our love, Mary Kaye and Tom Clouden and Thomas, Patrick and Sean

What an honor it was to be there on your wedding day-- God is lucky to have your smile -- your humor - your presence -- up with him -- while we will miss you -- we know you always held your family first and foremost - and your fight and struggle over the past years is both sadly and happily over -- and you are singing with the angels now-- still watching over all of us -- can't wait til we see each other again someday -- we love you!

The last years of your life have been difficult for you and our family. Now, thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ you are with your parents and family that predeceased you. As we reminisce about our relationship over the past 50+ years, we look at what you left behind - your lovely wife of 53 years, four wonderful children, six outstanding grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild. This is the mark we all leave - and they all will continue to make you proud. Enjoy the time with your family there and we will meet again. God Bless You. Ann & Chuck Titus April 23, 2011

Aunt Cindy, Tom, Tim, Mike and Colleen, I have been thinking about all of you a lot lately. I have gone over all of the great times we shared in the past with Uncle Tom. I remember sleep outs in the tent in Sterling Heights and Krackle candy bars (weird memories). I remember Uncle Tom trying to teach me how to play the organ when I came to visit there (We've only just begun always brings thought of Uncle Tom)! I also remember all of the fun times and hours of laughing. These are the times to always remember and cherish. I know the last 10 years have been difficult, please know that our Lord is with all of you and in this time of grief. Uncle Tom is no longer suffering. May the Lord's healing hands encompass all of you while you heal from this life event. I love you and will always cherish the memories throughout the years!

Papa. You were one of the funniest people I have ever known and I am so proud to call you my Grandpa. I am so glad I got 21 years with you and am so happy you were able to meet Brendon. I will never forget all the funny things you did like yelling at Cam and I for going on your front lawn or pretending you're lawn mower wouldn't start and singing zippty do da and then it would start. I swear though those were magic words! I remember how mom used to ask us what does papa do and we would stick our tongues out. My favorite and only homemade gift (I promise if I get another homemade gift yours will still be my favorite P) is something I cherish more than anything I've ever owned. I love you so much and I will never forget you. You deserve so much more than only eight entries but all that matters is your children and grand children will continue to honor your life. We will never forget that you're a part of each one of us.
