Our sincere condolences to Aunt Phyllis, Mark, Jayne, Gwen, and Alan and families. My mother was talking about him today. He was her last remaining sibling. She wanted me to tell you how much we enjoyed the many fun times together particularly at family holiday celebrations. One of our favorite memories is when we all went up to Camp Dearborn for the day, and joined your family who was there for the week. Aunt Phyllis made wonderful lasagna for the first time, using Mrs. Reihl's recipe. We had a cook-out, roasted marshmallows, and talked until it got dark. The paddleboats, the swimming, hamburgers, corn, beer and all of the laughter that day were typical of the fun times we all looked forward to. And Peterson park...Also remember a Cinderella play that the kids performed for everyone in the backyard at a different party at your home on Houghton. Tina was Cinderella And finally the Christmas that Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Chet were line dancing to Hava Nigila in our basement, and Uncle Kip and Aunt Phyllis were planning a canoe trip for everyone to go on the Au Sable river. Those were some wonderful times and fabulous memories! Having just lost Frank, we know how this is a very sad time for you. God bless you, Helen, Karen, Ken, Jenny, Jeff et. al.

Uncle Chet was a good friend to the Eagle family. Loretta and Kip very much enjoyed his company. Chet's service to the country is admired and appreciated. How wonderful that he will live in memory at Arlington National Cemetary. Sincere condolences to Aunt Phyllis, Mark, Jayne, Gwen, Alan and all of our young cousins.

It is impossible for me to even begin to list my great memories of Chet Kochanski.Just way too many.I do remember the first time I encountered him.His son Mark and I were on the freshman football team and were running a conditioning drill.CK yelled out to both of us from the edge of the practice field something about us(Mark and I) always being last! Afterwards, Mark advised that was his dad.LOL!
