Obituary of Shirley Marie O'Malley

Shirley Devlin O'Malley (ne Van Dyke), of Brighton, MI, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the age of 89. Shirley was born to parents Andrew and Emma "Dolly" Van Dyke on July 1, 1926 in Detroit, MI, the youngest of four siblings: Charles, Andrew and James, who preceded her in death. She married David H. Devlin in 1947 and the couple had four children. She worked as an administrative assistant at Health Alliance Plan in Southfield, MI. Shirley is survived by her son Brian D. (Patricia) Devlin and his three children Henry, Charles and Grace Devlin, daughter Elaine Devlin (Mark) Beigelman and their daughters Molly and Nina Beigelman, and son Bruce R. (Christine) Devlin and their daughters Pauline, Elizabeth and Theresa Devlin. She was preceded in death by her husband David and their daughter Donna Devlin Svoboda; and by her second husband William C. O'Malley. On Sunday, November 29 there will be a Memorial Gathering at 11:00 a.m. with a Service at 12:00 noon at R.G. & G. R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, MI 48154.
