Obituary of Ruth Evelyn Peterson

Ruth E. Peterson, age 93, died October 15 at Chester Street Residence in Royal Oak, MI, where she had lived for the past three years. Ruth is survived by grandchildren Kimberly Fitzgerald and Julia Snider, and by eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Peterson, children Dale Peterson and Katherine McIntosh, and granddaughter Rebecca Gassam. Born in 1921 near Chicago, IL, Ruth was a loving wife and mother. Ruth and Kenneth Peterson were residents of Orchard Lake, MI for nearly 50 years and also spent the winter months in Pasco County, FL. She enjoyed socializing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Ruth will be interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI with Kenneth, who was a WWII naval veteran.
