My condolences to the family of Gary Dessinger at their loss. He made teaching look easier than I'm sure it may have been. Chemistry would not have been a favorite subject of mine, had it not been for the way he found to connect with each student. Oh i am so so sorry of hearing of Mr. Dessingers passing. Heaven surely got an angel. What a wonderful teacher and man. Honored to have known him. He came to my sisters Finney reunion few years back. The Best teacher at Finney. Mr. Dessinger was the reason I studied Chemistry at Wayne State. He was a favorite of many Highlanders, still talked about with a smile at our last reunion. Godspeed sir. Cathy Crane, class of 1972.
